Ohio High School Basketball - Franklin nips Montrose Christian
January 17, 2015: Franklin, OH 45005 Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Montrose Christian (Rockville, MD), 77-75 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern bout on Friday, January 23. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the play the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 19. Montrose Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 77-58 non-league win over Benedictine (Cleveland, OH).
