In Thursday's non-league outing, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) basketball squad beat the host Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA), by a count of 57-43.

The Highlanders (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lakers go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Lake Oswego gained a win over Enterprise (Redding, CA), 71-60, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enterprise for a non-league outing on Friday, December 14. Red Bluff will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 71-60 non-league loss to Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
