Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer over Sandwich
January 23, 2018: Sandwich, IL 60548 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) and the host Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), saw Reed-Custer's basketball squad overcome Sandwich by a tally of 83-75.
With the victory, Reed-Custer improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to confront the Sentinels in a Interstate Eight challenge on Friday, February 2. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 15-4.
Next up, the Indians confront the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Sandwich will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 53-50 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
