In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pope Greyhounds.

The Patriots (21-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Pope will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record.
