The Medina Bobcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Center Point Pirates to 38 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mason for a 1A-1 Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, February 3. Medina will meet a Punchers team coming off a 53-6 league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Punchers record now stands at 25-4.

The Pirates (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Eagles enter the 1A-1 Region IV District 29 contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Johnson City was nudged by Mason (Mason, TX), 53-6, in a league contest.
