With the victory, Moffat improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO) to battle the Panthers in a 1A Southern Peaks challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Sierra Grande lost 38-37 in their recent league test against Centennial (San Luis, CO)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cotopaxi for a 1A Southern Peaks test on Tuesday, February 22. Primero will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 78-21 non-league loss to Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 5-11.
