The Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) football routed the host Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), 36-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Timberwolves clash with the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, October 7. Spring Valley will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 36-14 non-league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
