Texas High School Basketball - Katy Taylor can't hold off Angleton
December 28, 2017: Katy, TX 77450 Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX), 79-78 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Angleton upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Vista Ridge won 75-49 in their recent league bout against Lehman (Kyle, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Katy Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Atascocita (Humble, TX).
