January 15, 2018: Toledo, OH 43605 The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) basketball nipped the host Waite Indians (Toledo, OH), 59-55 in Monday's non-league test.
The Zee-Bees (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Blue Devils go into the North Suburban test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Warren Township got by Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 64-54, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Waite will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 45-31 league loss to Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 4-8.
