The Mandarin Mustangs (Jacksonville, FL) basketball knocked off the host Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), 55-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL). The Senators go into the 6A District 1 test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Fletcher was beaten by Episcopal (Jacksonville, FL), 53-37, in a non-league test.

The Sharks now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Menendez for a 4A District 4 test on Tuesday, January 5.
