Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Shaler Area's basketball squad trounce North Hills by a score of 79-46.

With the victory, Shaler Area improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to battle the Rams in a WPIAL AAAA 3 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-14.

Next up, the Indians battle the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. North Hills will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 5-14 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA).
