California High School Basketball - Wickenburg topples Palo Verde Valley
January 30, 2010: Blythe, CA 92225 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wickenburg Wranglers (Wickenburg, AZ) basketball squad beat the host Palo Verde Valley Yellowjackets (Blythe, CA), by a count of 57-42.
The Wranglers (5-16) will now prepare for their outing against Parker (Parker, AZ). The Broncs go into the 3A West outing with a 14-15 record. In their last outing, Parker gained a win over Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 75-51, in a non-league outing.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they host Calipatria for a Desert outing on Tuesday, February 2. Palo Verde Valley will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 56-50 league win over Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-8.
