Mississippi High School Basketball - Arkansas edges DeSoto Central
December 29, 2017: Southaven, MS 38672 The Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR) basketball nipped the host DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS), 63-60 in Friday's non-league test.
The Razorbacks (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Camden Fairview (Camden, AR). The Cardinals go into the 5A South test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Camden Fairview was tipped by Magnolia (Magnolia, AR), 43-30, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. DeSoto Central will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 11-0.
