The South Gate Rams basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Belmont Sentinels to 40 in the Rams non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mendez for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. South Gate will meet a team coming off a 47-45 non-league win over USC-Mast (Los Angeles, CA). The record now stands at 1-0.
