Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) and the host Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE), saw Paxton's basketball squad overcome Hitchcock County by a tally of 35-25.

With the victory, Paxton improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 21. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Wauneta-Palisade won 56-54 in their recent non-league test against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE)

The Falcons now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Rawlins County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 2.
