Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) and the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ), saw Lakewood's basketball squad wallop Point Pleasant Boro by a count of 64-36.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Piners travel to Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ) to play the Argonauts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 17. The Argonauts come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Rutgers Prep won 58-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ)
