The Mena Bearcats/Ladycats basketball team (Mena, AR), was toppled 73-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR)

The Trojans now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Hamilton for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 29. Kirby will confront a Wolves team coming off a 71-32 non-league win over Centerpoint (Amity, AR). The Wolves record now stands at 7-2.

The Bearcats/Ladycats (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against De Queen (De Queen, AR). The Leopards come into the 4A Region 7 battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, De Queen was toppled by Russellville (Russellville, AR), 64-30, in a non-league battle.
