February 6, 2018: Henderson, NV 89052 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons (Henderson, NV), saw Desert Pines's basketball squad hold off Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas by a tally of 39-35.
With the victory, Desert Pines improves its record to 5-17 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Rattlers in a 3A Southern - Sunset challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Mojave won 73-33 in their recent league challenge against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sunrise - Northeast battle, on Thursday, February 8. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Pioneers come into the battle with a 14-6 record after their 58-38 league win over Rancho (Las Vegas, NV).
