Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN), 48-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to confront the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-0. North Posey won 36-17 in their recent league battle against South Spencer (Rockport, IN)
