Florida High School Lacrosse - Cocoa Beach drops to Merritt Island
March 23, 2018: Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 In Friday's league test, the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a good 14-5 victory over the Cocoa Beach Minutemen.
The Mustangs now have a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sebastian River for a non-league test on Monday, March 26. Merritt Island will face a Sharks squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Holy Trinity Episcopal (Melbourne, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 4-7.
In their next game, the Minutemen face the Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 26. Cocoa Beach will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 15-3 league loss to Melbourne Central Catholic (Melbourne, FL).
