The Winfield Generals basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks to 16 in the Generals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Generals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal contest on Monday, December 11. Winfield will meet a Indians team coming off a 48-36 league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.

The Big Blacks (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Bison enter the Freelance contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Buffalo was routed by Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV), 34-21, in a league contest.
