Game Summary
Lincoln showed their tremendous technical abilities from the very first moment of the game. In the end, it was the smart tactical play and hard work of the Lightning that led them to victory. Legacy struck first in the 5th minute when Tanor Rainwater struck a monster volley from 15 yards that was a goal from the moment he struck it. Midway through the half Legacy made it 2-0 when Rusk converted a Gonzales pass near the goal line. After intermission Lincoln continued their high pressure play and had several close chances before they scored on a deflection at the near post. Shortly afterwards Legacy regained its 2 goal lead when Rainwater converted a Hyatt through ball, took the keeper on 1v1 with excellent composure and tucked it away in the lower corner. Not long thereafter Garrett Visser made tallied the fourth goal when he took advantage of a goalkeeping error which led to an indirect kick from 8 yards. His low shot was redirected by a mess of legs to find the net at near post
