Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Benson Bunnies (Omaha, NE), 48-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Millard South upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE) to play the Junior Jays in a A District TBD bout on Friday, January 9. The Junior Jays come into the bout with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Bunnies play the Omaha Northwest Huskies (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Friday, January 9. Benson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 88-47 league loss to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE).
