St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Andover Huskies (Andover, MN), 67-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Fighting Saints travel to Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 27. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 5-2. Spring Lake Park won 54-47 in their recent non-league game against Anoka (Anoka, MN)

With the defeat, Andover moves to 2-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN) to face the Pirates in a Northwest Suburban game on Tuesday, January 6.
