Illinois High School Football - Oak Lawn drops to Glenbard East
September 5, 2008: Lombard, IL 60148 In Friday's non-league game, the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) football team knocked off the visiting Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL), by a score of 27-13.
The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies come into the DuPage Valley game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Naperville North toppled Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 55-13, in a non-league game.
The Spartans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tinley Park for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Oak Lawn will battle a Titans team coming off a 40-19 non-league loss to Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.
