April 10, 2012: Chapel Hill, NC 27516 Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Carrboro Jaguars (Chapel Hill, NC) and the visiting Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC), saw Carrboro's baseball squad knock off Granville Central by a count of 9-3.

Stewart Powell and Jeff Strongoli, in the one and two slots in the order, went 2-4 and 2-3 respectively with two runs apiece to lead the Carrboro Jaguars over Granville Central, 9-3, at Carrboro on Tuesday. Jared Lennon went 2-4 with 3 RBI's to help lead the attack.
Jack Schaufler scattered 5 hits over 4 1/3 innings to pick up his sixth win of the season.
With the win, the Jaguars go to 10-3 overall, 6-2 in the Carolina 12 conference. Granville Central drops to 4-8, 3-4 in the Carolina 12 conference.
