New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia succumbs to Las Cruces
December 30, 2016: Albuquerque, NM 87110 The Las Cruces Bulldawgs topped the host Sandia Matadors basketball team by a final score of 53-39 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldawgs face the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a 6A District 3 game, on Friday, January 6. Las Cruces will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record.
With the defeat, Sandia moves to 4-4 on the year. The Matadors host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 3. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 6-2.
