The Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball overcame the visiting Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Mesa Ridge betters its record to 9-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Gladiators in a 4A Colorado Springs Metro outing on Tuesday, September 25. The Gladiators go into the outing with a record of 7-4. Widefield lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Stallions now sport a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Pueblo Centennial for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 22.

Outstanding effort by everyone. Consistent serves was a key factor again in tonight's win. Although the score doesn't show it, Sierra had a lot of hustle and got up a lot of balls throughout the match. Sarabeth Haworth led the night with 21 serves, 4 aces and scored 18 points. She also led the team with 16 kills out of 25 attempts. Aeryn Quintana was very strong with her serves with 15 points out of 18 attempts with 3 aces.
