Virginia High School Basketball - Woodson crushes Radford
December 29, 2011: Fairfax, VA 22031 Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 43-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Woodson upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cavaliers host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to encounter the Bruins in a AAA Patriot bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Lake Braddock lost 37-32 in their recent non-league bout against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Bobcats encounter the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a A Three Rivers bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Radford will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 68-29 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).
