Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) and the host Luella Lions (Luella, GA), saw Lowndes's basketball squad knock off Luella by a score of 61-53.

With the victory, Lowndes improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 12-4. North Cobb won 60-54 in their recent non-league test against Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA)
