Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad tip the host Florence Eagles (Florence, MS), 70-69 in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Pearl (Pearl, MS). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Pearl got by Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS), 84-58, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Puckett for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Florence will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 90-48 non-league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Wolves record now stands at 0-7.
