August 28, 2009: Eclectic, AL 36024 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Tallassee Tigers football squad scored a big 42-7 victory over the Elmore County Panthers.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Henderson Trojans (Troy, AL) in a 5A Region 2 match, on Friday, September 4. Tallassee will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 28-7 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, AL).
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles enter the 4A Region 2 match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Alabama Christian Academy routed St. Jude Educational Institute (Montgomery, AL), 35-20, in a non-league match.
