The Amanda Elzy Panthers basketball team (Greenwood, MS), was nudged 73-72 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS)

The Whippets now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 6. Kosciusko will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-0.
