Graham Steers (Graham, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Steers now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wylie for a 4A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Graham will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Mineral Wells falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Brownwood (Brownwood, TX) to battle the Lions in a 4A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 24. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
