January 27, 2018: Montgomery, AL 36108 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) and the host Carver Wolverines (Montgomery, AL), saw Mountain Brook's basketball squad hold off Carver by a tally of 64-59.
With the victory, Mountain Brook improves its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cordova (Cordova, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 20-8. Cordova won 55-47 in their recent non-league challenge against South Lamar (Millport, AL)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Holy Family Catholic Tornadoes (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Carver will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record.
