The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) and the host Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA), saw Escalon's volleyball squad nip Mariposa County by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Escalon upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 16. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 20-11. Golden Sierra won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Summerville (Tuolumne, CA)
