September 25, 2015: Colorado Springs, CO 80909 The University Bulldogs football team scored 42 points and held the host St. Mary's Pirates to 15 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Tigers come into the 2A Patriot challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Sterling achieved victory over Wray (Wray, CO), 42-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lamar for a 2A Tri-Peaks challenge on Friday, October 2. St. Mary's will meet a Savages team coming off a 33-21 non-league loss to Brush (Brush, CO). The Savages record now stands at 2-2.
