California High School Volleyball - Elk Grove De La Salle
March 28, 2009: Elk Grove, CA 95624 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting De La Salle Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Elk Grove Thundering Herd.
The Spartans (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Oak Ridge achieved victory over Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Thundering Herd clash with the Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA) in a Delta Valley battle, on Tuesday, March 31. Elk Grove will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Valley (Sacramento, CA).
