October 4, 2012: Sioux City, IA 51106 In Thursday's league match, the host Sioux City East Black Raiders football squad scored a close 27-21 victory over the Urbandale J-Hawks.
In their next game, the Black Raiders clash with the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) in a 4A Division 1 match, on Thursday, October 11. Sioux City East will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Railsplitters enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 37-7 league loss to Valley (West Des Moines, IA).
The J-Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Indians enter the 4A Division 1 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Indianola got by Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA), 45-22, in a league test.
