North Carolina High School Basketball - Bartlett Yancey ripped by Jordan-Matthews
February 10, 2011: Siler City, NC 27344 The Jordan-Matthews Jets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers to 31 in the Jets league triumph on Thursday.
The Jets now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a 2A Conference 8 contest on Friday, February 11. Jordan-Matthews will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 64-49 non-league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 17-5.
The Buccaneers (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Cummings was routed by Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 65-54, in a non-league contest.
