North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers confront the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - League A challenge, on Tuesday, October 16. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 4-3 league loss to Sparks (Sparks, NV).

The Buckaroos now possess a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Truckee for a 3A Northern - League A challenge on Saturday, October 13. Lowry will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 4-0 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-5.
