Minnesota High School Basketball - Academy of Holy Angels topped by Brooklyn Center
February 15, 2018: Richfield, MN 55423 The Brooklyn Center Centaurs basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Academy of Holy Angels Stars to 60 in the Centaurs league victory on Thursday.
The Centaurs now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeLaSalle for a Tri-Metro - West contest on Tuesday, February 20. Brooklyn Center will battle a Islanders team coming off a 91-61 league win over Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Islanders record now stands at 18-4.
The Stars (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN). The Hylanders come into the Tri-Metro - West contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Columbia Heights dropped by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 68-56, in a non-league contest.
