February 4, 2017: Calais, ME 04619 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) and the host Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), saw Lee Academy's basketball squad overcome Calais by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Lee Academy improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Pandas host Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to confront the Pirates in a C North challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Piscataquis lost 70-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Orono (Orono, ME)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Calais will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Shiretowners come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 54-50 league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME).
