Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 14-13 in a league test.

With the triumph, Downingtown West improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Whippets host East (West Chester, PA) to battle the Vikings in a Ches-Mont - National test on Friday, October 26. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-4. East won 42-20 in their recent league test against Henderson (West Chester, PA)

With the loss, Bishop Shanahan drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, October 26. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 5-4. Oxford lost 45-0 in their recent league test against Kennett (Kennett Square, PA)
