Connecticut High School Basketball - Watertown overwhelmed by Crosby
January 30, 2018: Waterbury, CT 06705 The Crosby Bulldogs basketball team scored 98 points and restricted the visiting Watertown Indians to 58 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilby for a Naugatuck Valley - Brass contest on Friday, February 2. Crosby will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 76-38 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.
The Indians (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks come into the Naugatuck Valley - Iron contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Woodland Regional was routed by Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT), 104-45, in a non-league contest.
