Washington High School Basketball - Peninsula tops Gig Harbor
December 6, 2014: Gig Harbor, WA 98332 Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), 68-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Peninsula upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to play the Panthers in a 3A South Puget Sound bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Bonney Lake lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Fife (Tacoma, WA)
Next up, the Tides play the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 4A Narrows bout, on Wednesday, December 10. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 64-62 non-league loss to Curtis (University Place, WA).
