North Carolina High School Football - East Bladen sneaks past Fairmont
October 5, 2018: Fairmont, NC 28340 The East Bladen Eagles football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Fairmont Golden Tornadoes to 27 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pauls for a Three Rivers 1A/2A battle on Friday, October 12. East Bladen will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-6 league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
Coming up next, the Golden Tornadoes face the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) in a Three Rivers 1A/2A battle, on Friday, October 12. Fairmont will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 49-6 league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
