California High School Basketball - Ribet Academy can't hold off La Salle
February 2, 2017: Los Angeles, CA 90065 The La Salle Lancers basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Ribet Academy Fighting Frogs to 60 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lancers now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Genevieve for a Camino Real contest on Friday, February 3. La Salle will battle a Valiants team coming off a 50-47 league win over St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Valiants record now stands at 9-14.
The Fighting Frogs (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Executive Prep Academy of Finance (Hawthorne, CA). The enter the non-league contest with a 12-13 record. In their last contest, Executive Prep Academy of Finance was nudged by Renaissance Academy (Altadena, CA), 78-57, in a league contest.
