North Carolina High School Baseball - Hickory Ridge holds off Northwest Cabarrus
April 20, 2016: Concord, NC 28027 Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) and the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), saw Hickory Ridge's baseball squad knock off Northwest Cabarrus by a count of 6-2.
Coming up next, the Ragin' Bulls play the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A battle, on Friday, April 22. Hickory Ridge will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 13-7 record after their 9-2 league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
The Trojans now possess a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a South Piedmont 3A battle on Thursday, April 21. Northwest Cabarrus will play a Cougars squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 13-8.
