Indiana High School Basketball - Southside crushes Rushville
January 17, 2009: Rushville, IN 46173 Southside Rebels (Muncie, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their basketball team smash the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), 81-54 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 23. Southside will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Noblesville (Noblesville, IN).
With the defeat, Rushville moves to 7-4 on the year. The Lions host Yorktown (Yorktown, IN) to face the Tigers in a Hoosier Heritage game on Friday, January 23. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 6-5. Yorktown lost 49-42 in their recent league game against Delta (Muncie, IN)
